In accordance with Ontario municipal election rules:
- Contributions may only be made by individuals who are residents of Ontario.
- Corporate, business and trade union contributions are not permitted.
- An individual may contribute a maximum of $1,200 to my campaign.
- Contributions must be made using the contributor’s own funds.
- Contributions over $25 cannot be made in cash.
- A receipt will be provided for every campaign contribution.
Please Note: Municipal campaign contributions are not tax deductible.
If your total contributions to my campaign exceed $100, your name and address are required to be reported on my campaign financial statement, which is a public document.
