Our Platform
Peter has served BWG residents since 2014 and understands the town from the inside: budgets, planning, growth, parks, traffic, agricultural importance, conservation, and resident service. Roads, traffic, infrastructure, schools, services, and planning keeping pace.
Peter pushed for safer streets, school zones, and traffic-calming tools across BWG. As Chair of the Community and Traffic Safety Committee, he drove real action on the issues families care about most: traffic calming, school-zone safety, and pedestrian safety.
Peter delivered Henderson Memorial Community Park upgrades including a new 2,400 sq. ft. pavilion, plus continued work on Joe Magani Park improvements and future baseball-diamond planning. Outdoor spaces serving families, seniors, and youth across BWG.
Chair of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority. Preserving important farmland. Promoting water preservation. Contributing to the new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek Conservation Area.
Tax management by helping to reduce or hold the municipal portion of taxation steady without reducing town core services. Reviewed the town's budget line by line to find potential savings. Promote open communication with constituents.
As BWG grows, how residents move around our community will become increasingly important. Transportation planning must consider not only roads and traffic, but also reliable and accessible public transit that connects people to work, school, shopping, recreation, medical appointments and the Bradford GO Station.
Peter believes the democratic process is fundamental to good government. Council sets direction together, staff provide expertise, and decisions are made openly in the community's best interest. Strong leadership means building consensus, not concentrating power.
